「Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well.」
若不是Zen硬拖著我去看跨年煙火show，我鐵定是百分之三百在九點多從公司拖著沉重的疲累回家後，換上睡衣，扭開電暖爐，設定暖器時間為一小時後，馬上拉起羽絨背，悶頭大睡。
去年（2006.12.31），Zen是在家裡的頂樓看101煙火，遠遠的101大樓變得很像Zen過年時玩得仙女棒，因為太遠，所以，也就不特別覺得好看。今年，Zen的幼稚園老師在學校栩栩如生地描繪出倒數新年的快樂，還讓他們大聲地喊出：「10、9、8、7、6……5、4、3、2、1~~~~~~HAPPY NEW YEAR！」
也正因此，Zen滿懷期待地嘟嚷著說要去跨年看101煙火。
好，問題來了，晚上十點多要去跨年，我可沒氣力去市府廣場前打哆嗦地人擠人，選擇了最優雅的賞101的私密景點，也就是我服務的學學文創志業辦公室XD
去年的學學，有舉辦跨年晚會，當天全棟大樓開放( 2006.12.31學學跨年照片 )。
今年，因為10樓已為學學辦公空間，不便開放，但，我知道到最後一天，還不少學學會員詢問著：「12/31，學學是不是有舉辦跨年晚會呀？」
「很抱歉，並沒有。」
還記得在一個多月前，決定取消跨年晚會的那當下，徐董事長似乎有所猶豫，查理王順水推舟地說了，「董事長因為我們12/12已經有舉辦會員感謝宴了，12/31就讓同仁們休息吧！讓同事回家休息，陪陪家人與親友，就是最好的新年禮物！」

學學今年雖然沒有舉辦跨年盛宴，但查理王為大家拍攝了2007年最璀璨的煙火，這高潮迭起的188秒，像是燃盡2007的憂傷，給了2008年重新出發的火熱熱情與勇氣。
不自覺地在心中哼起這兩首歌……《I WILL FOLLOW HIM - Sister Act》、《Ain't no mountain high enough by Sister Act 2 》，謹將查理王在寒冬面河第一排的學學大樓為您紀錄的煙火SHOW，獻給每一位曾經在路途中，協助、幫忙、支持查理王的朋友，謝謝您們，因為有您們長期的鼓勵與支持，讓我在夜深人靜每每想放棄時，想起大家的溫暖，就感動滿懷；也謝謝曾給予我挫折、嘲諷與建議的朋友們，因為有您們的諍言，讓我看到世界的多元與不同色彩。
